How to get potential buyers on codester
-
Osazeworld May 12, 2017Hello!
Pls! How do i increase sales and get potential buyers of my application here on codester. -
Kareem May 13, 2017You can make an ad on facebook targeted for developers and marketplaces.
Or you can make an item for free, this will increase the people who will see your product, and may buy your item even if it free! -
To start with their are 2 areas to look to increase sales.
- Improve your product presentation.
This will improve your items performance for potential customers who are browsing Codester.
- Promoting your product outside Codester.
This allows you to get more potential customers to view your product. If you are able to get more links to your product it also helps the product page to rank higher in Google which will also have great effect on sales.
Also PPC and Facebook could be interesting, but this is something to carefully experiment with.

leocoding May 19, 2017I am looking forward creating campaign for my items on facebook. Can someone please suggest me categories?
Can you Frederick please send us a screenshot of your campaign you are doing for Codester. Or is is a remarketing one? Since I noticed I began to saw your ad only after I liked codester page.
thanks

it probably is a remarking campaign which you are seeing.
I recommend CPC campaign and keeping the max cpc low to start with. Facebook has the tendency to advice ridiculously high rates. -
leocoding May 23, 2017I finished my campaign with 0.06$ per click I didn't spend much.
I had no sales but 1 referral. -
What was your conversion rate for that referral?
-
leocoding May 23, 2017I do not see my balance is higher just that I refereed 1 user. What do you mean conversion rate, where do i see that
-
With conversion rate in this case I mean the percentage clicks that converted into a referral. Or how many clicks did your ad have?
-
leocoding May 24, 2017Since my goal being here on codester is to EARN some money (which I am failing at since I am never going to reach withdrawal threshold) I didn't invest much into campaign so i had only 20-40 clicks

Understandable.. I wouldn't go mad on paid advertising to start with, but it is great way to test how your item performance
