I've uploaded a WordPress plugin to Codester. Now I'm totally clueless about the turnaround period. or It is somewhere I couldn't find. Here are my few suggestions that can be implemented.
-- Overall turnaround duration for each category.
-- Overall sales stat of marketplace sales. Each item sales would be nice too but you guys are on firm side about supporting new items which I find interesting too. Perhaps including author and marketplace sales stat could help developer get confidence on getting their item upload on Codester.
-- May be more aggressive marketing of Codester helps reach more audience.
-- Re-ordering the sections in the homepage can also bring much impact. I think it would be great if the sections are in the following order.
1. Featured Items
2. Latest Releases ( Categorized )
3. Items on Sale ( can be on no. 2 or 3 )
5. Free files
Actually I don't see any other staffs beside you. Been following several threads, couldn't see other replying to any of the thread.. Perhaps adding more community staffs/moderators could prove to beneficial. Are there any parameters set to pick featured items ?
-- Obviously user doesn't have to wait longer to get some simple replies..
-- Only one people is replying to forum threads shows that only you're handling everything means user might not get support on time.
-- Can filter the quality of posts.
If authors/users are given some kinda post, s/he will get notifications and and if its their zone of comfort one can certainly help. ( Power of Post ) :P
