Making a Sold Product Open Source

Hello,

One of my products is currently on selling. I want to make this product open source and putting github link in description. But I don't want to remove it from the page to let people buy it.

(My item will be open source and I will add the link to the Codester. Those who want will be able to buy it.)

Does Codester allow this?

Giving away your work as Open Source is a great thing, but Codester is meant for developers who want to make a business selling their work.

I mean yes, it is "open source" by the strictest definition, but it clearly contradits the ethos. I'm really not sure how the author doesn't feel as if this goes against what she outlines as her values, even without pedantic arguments over the meaning of open source I really don't see how freemium wouldn't "annoy her like other software" or how freemium is SO much morally better than subscriptions or time limits
