Installation Instructions

1. Download the main package from Codester.
2. Unzip the downloaded package on your computer.
3. Open the installable-plugin folder.
4. Upload order-status-rules-lite-for-woocommerce.zip from WordPress admin:
   Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin
5. Activate the plugin.
6. Go to WooCommerce > Status Rules.
7. Keep global dry-run mode enabled while creating your first rules.
8. Create a rule and choose the trigger, target status and conditions.
9. Open WooCommerce > Status Rules > Dry Run.
10. Enter a real order ID and review which rule would match.
11. When you are confident, turn off global dry-run mode in Settings.
12. Review automatic changes in WooCommerce order notes and Status Rules logs.

Recommended first rule:
- Trigger: Payment complete
- Product type: All items are virtual and downloadable
- Target status: Completed

Important:
This plugin does not create custom order statuses. It automates status changes using your existing WooCommerce statuses and rules.
