*** You need to have access to create a database on the Server
*** You need to be able to import the application's database sql file to the database created on your server
Unzip and copy the scripts package contents into your hosting server.
Manually create a database (most likely, using “PhpMyAdmin” or from "MySQL Databases" menu of your cPanel).
Add a Database User (with all permissions) to the new database.
Find the database file (kb_simple.sql) located directly in the folder "_DB_FILE" of the package (KB Simple script) you downloaded.
Import the database file (kb_simple.sql) to your newly created database (most likely, using “PhpMyAdmin”).
Open the database config file located at "application" >> "config" >> "database.php" and edit the database connection details to match your database details.
Change 'root' to your database username.
Change 'pass' to your database user password.
Change 'dbname' to the name of the database you created and imported the sql file to.
If required, change 'localhost' to your database hostname (It remains localhost in most cases).

An extended license allows an item to be used in unlimited projects for either personal or commercial use. The item cannot be offered for resale "as-is". It is allowed to distribute/sublicense the source files as part of a larger project.
