Follow these steps to set up WebAI on your server and get started with your AI-powered search engine.

1. Upload the Script

• Upload the entire WebAI script folder to your server’s public directory (public_html, httpdocs, or www).
• You can use FTP or cPanel’s File Manager to transfer the files.

2. Set File Permissions (If Required)

• Ensure the web server has write permissions for the directory where the SQLite database file is stored.
• Set permissions to 755 for security (or 777 if necessary, but use with caution).
• Some hosting environments may not require this step.

3. Access the Admin Panel

• Open a web browser and go to the URL where you uploaded WebAI (e.g., yourdomain.com/admin/).
• You should see the admin login page.

4. Login

• Default credentials:
  • Username: admin
  • Password: admin123

5. Change Credentials Immediately 🔒

• After logging in, change the default admin username and password right away.
• Navigate to the admin settings or profile section to update your credentials.

6. Complete Initial Setup (If Needed)

• If WebAI requires additional setup (e.g., indexing search data or configuring sources), follow the on-screen instructions in the admin panel.

7. Clearing Previous Data

• To reset the search index and start fresh, delete the database.sqlite file (or your custom database file).
• WebAI will automatically regenerate it upon the next indexing operation.
