This is a complete Online Examination System developed using PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap. It provides a secure platform for schools, coaching centers, or institutions to conduct online tests with real-time scoring and automated result processing. The system includes separate login panels for administrators and students.

Administrators can easily manage subjects, questions, and student details from a clean and modern dashboard. Students can take timed exams, navigate using pagination, review marked questions, and automatically receive results after submission.

The system is built with an MVC structure and clean, well-commented code, making it easy to customize and extend. It includes a responsive user interface for smooth performance on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Clean MVC project structure

– Web server (Apache recommended)
– PHP 7.4 or higher
– MySQL or MariaDB database
– PHP extensions: mysqli, openssl, mbstring, json
– XAMPP, WAMP, or any PHP hosting server
– Web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)

1. Copy project folder to htdocs.
2. Create database in phpMyAdmin.
3. Import database.sql.
4. Update database settings in config file if required.
5. Open browser:
   http://localhost/online-exam/public/
6. Login with the provided credentials.
