# Installation
## Plugins

- Install the WooCommerce plugin prior to installing the theme.
    - Setup WooCommerce as you see fit for your business, but read the WooCommerce section below for supported features with this theme
    - Ensure you set WooCommerce Site Visibility to Live (Wordpress Admin / WooCommerce / Settings / Site visibility) and click Save changes
- Install the included Every Support Day (everysupportday.zip) plugin to allow users to send requests between guests/listing hosts/owners. This plugin is optional

- In Wordpress admin (wp-admin), go to Appearance > Themes and click the Add New button:

- Click Upload Theme and Choose File, then select the theme's .zip file (/theme/ess.zip). Click Install Now
- Click Upload Theme and Choose File, then select the child theme's .zip file (/theme/ess-child.zip). Click Install Now

- Click Activate on the Child theme to use your new theme right away

**NOTE: It is recommended to only use the child theme as images/css that come with the parent theme may change with future updates. Using the child theme ensures your changes will not be affected, or files overwritten**

- It is recommended to use an SMTP plugin such as WP Mail SMTP to ensure emails are properly routed. See the Messaging section below
