The module's standout feature is vision-powered generation: it looks at your actual product images and writes descriptions based on what it sees. No more copy-pasting specs or guessing what to write — point the AI at a photo of the product and it produces accurate, specific copy that matches the real item. Works automatically whenever product images are present; no extra steps required.

WHAT IT DOES

Open any product, switch to the AI Copywriter tab, pick a language and tone, tick the fields you need, and click Generate Copy. The AI analyses the product images together with the name, category, manufacturer and attributes, then returns polished copy ready for review. You accept, edit or skip each field before a single click saves everything to the database.

GENERATED FIELDS

- Product Description — 2–4 paragraphs with key benefits and features
- Meta Title — SEO-optimised, enforced max 60 characters
- Meta Description — SEO meta description, enforced max 155 characters
- Meta Keywords — comma-separated keyword list
- Product Tags — 3–8 comma-separated tags saved to the database
- Instagram Caption — social caption with 3–5 hashtags, max 280 characters
- Facebook Post — short 1–3 sentence promotional post

VISION-POWERED GENERATION FROM PRODUCT PHOTOS

When a product has images, they are sent directly to the AI provider alongside the text context. The AI sees the product — its colour, shape, design details, materials, packaging — and writes copy that reflects what is actually in the photo.

LANGUAGES

The module reads the languages installed in your store and shows only those it supports:
English, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Arabic, Greek, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Hungarian, Estonian, Czech, Polish, Bulgarian, Swedish, Georgian, Finnish — 18 languages.

Content is always saved to the correct language row in the database.

STAGING / REVIEW WORKFLOW

Generated content is never auto-saved. A staging panel shows the current value and the AI suggestion side by side. For each field you can:

- Accept — marks the field for saving
- Edit — opens an inline textarea so you can adjust before accepting
- Skip — keeps the existing value untouched

Only accepted fields are written to the database when you click Save Accepted.

- Internet access from the server (outgoing HTTPS to provider APIs)

OpenCart 4.x — Extension Installer

1. Go to Admin → Extensions → Installer
2. Click Upload and select ai_copywriter.ocmod.zip (the OC 4.x file)
3. Wait for the green success message
4. Go to Admin → Extensions → Extensions, filter by Modules
5. Find AI Product Copywriter and click the green + Install button
6. Click the blue Edit button to open Settings
7. Select your AI provider, enter your API key, click Test Connection
8. Choose the default language and tone, then click Save
9. Open any product — the AI Copywriter tab will appear automatically

OpenCart 2.x / 3.x — OCMOD

1. Go to Admin → Extensions → Installer
2. Click Upload and select ai_copywriter.ocmod.zip (the OC 2.x/3.x file)
3. Go to Admin → Extensions → Modifications and click the Refresh button (top right)
4. Go to Admin → Extensions → Extensions, filter by Modules
5. Find AI Copywriter in the left sidebar and click Settings
6. Enter your API key, click Test Connection to verify, then Save
7. Open any product — the AI Copywriter tab will appear automatically

Uninstalling

OC 4.x: Extensions → Extensions → Modules → AI Product Copywriter → Uninstall, then Extensions → Installer → delete the entry.

OC 2.x/3.x: Extensions → Modifications → delete the modification → Refresh, then Extensions → Modules → Uninstall.
