1. Upload and activate the Kinetix theme (Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme).
2. Install and activate the companion Kinetix Core plugin (Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin) — this registers the Portfolio post type.
3. Go to Appearance > Kinetix Demo Import in WP Admin, choose one of the 6 presets (Blog, Tech/SaaS, Creative Studio, Fintech, Health & Wellness, Industrial), and click Import. This installs sample posts, menus, and Customizer settings — safe to re-run if you want to switch presets.
4. Open Appearance > Customize to edit colors, hero content, stat blocks, layout variant, background field vocabulary, and footer details with live preview.
5. To showcase work, add Portfolio entries under the new Portfolio menu item — each supports client, year, and live URL details.
