  The problem I see if using local DOM is if you have a group chat depending on when user entered they won’t see the others messages, a timeout if not kept open will burn the chat, and if in group this could really screw with the others ability to chat if the other reloads page. Without database how did you account for + mitigate this? I’ve tried before and it was a disaster. Ok thanks. - Chris k.

  You're absolutely right: since VanishChat operates without a database and stores messages only in the browser's DOM, it does not preserve chat history. This design is intentional and aligns with the core principle of the app — privacy-first, zero-footprint communication.
