  November 1, 2025, all new apps and updates targeting Android 15 or above must support 16 KB memory page sizes to be accepted on Google Play. This is a compatibility requirement for 64-bit devices that have been configured with 16 KB page sizes, and apps with native (NDK) code must be rebuilt to ensure 16 KB ELF alignment and packaging rules are met. Pure Java/Kotlin apps are generally unaffected, but apps with native dependencies need to upgrade them to compatible versions and test thoroughly on 16 KB environments.
