Confluent is positioned closer to a Confluence-style knowledge management system, where teams can maintain internal pages, company information, project notes, onboarding guides, product knowledge, private documentation, and shared resources. It includes a workspace-oriented structure, team/member management, page revisions, comments, publishing controls, and SaaS-style organization support. The database architecture also separates organizations, memberships, sites/workspaces, spaces, pages, comments, revisions, and releases, which reflects a broader knowledgebase workflow rather than only static documentation publishing.
  
  In Confluent, users can switch between view mode and edit mode simply by double-clicking on the editor. This makes the experience feel more like a live team knowledgebase, where published/internal pages can be quickly updated without navigating through a separate documentation publishing flow.
  
  So Confluent is not just a documentation publisher. It is designed as a team workspace and knowledgebase, where users can read, edit, organize, and update knowledge quickly inside the same interface.
