Installation and management of e-mails, firewalls, control panels, network shares, NAS, Active Directory domains, software for data backup / restore. These capabilities have been gained by managing internal corporate web servers (used for hosting web applications).

Network management

Internet and Intranet, wired or wireless network administration, main network management tools, network implementation and configuration, network monitoring and diagnostics, remote access services and server installation. Main known networks: LAN, Microsoft Active Directory, NFS, NAS, WAN. These capabilities have been gained by managing and configuring pre-existing internal networks, implementing new ones, extending internal services such as mail servers, files and printer servers, multi-user applications on the intranet, creating VPNs for backup and data exchange between offices and external servers.

Web design and content management

Design with Javascript, Ajax, Style sheets, HTML, DHTML. Prototype creation and web layout. Usability study with attention to web standards. Information architecture (Information structure), categorization, content insertion and review, data indexing and search engine positioning. Study through the main optimization tools available.These skills have been gained by developing, administering and configuring websites of various kinds, e-commerce and CMS.
