• PHP 7.4+ (PHP 8.0+ recommended)
• MySQL 5.7+ / MariaDB 10+

• PHP extensions: PDO, PDO_MYSQL, GD
• uploads/ folder must be writable (CHMOD 755/775/777 depending on hosting)
• phpMyAdmin (or any MySQL client) to import schema.sql

1. Upload files

Upload all files to your hosting (e.g. public_html/) or copy them into your local server folder.

2. Create the database 

Create a new MySQL database (e.g. car_dealership) and a database user.

3. Import the schema 

Open phpMyAdmin → Import → select schema.sql → Import.

4. Configure the app 

Copy config.example.php → config.php and set your database credentials and base URL.

5. Create admin account (one-time) 

Open /setup_admin.php in the browser, create your admin account, then DELETE setup_admin.php for security.

6. Login and add vehicles

Open your hidden admin panel URL and start adding your vehicles and images.
