VortexCodex Crypto Widgets Pro adds premium crypto displays on top of the free VortexCodex Crypto Widgets base plugin, which is INCLUDED in this package. Data comes from the free CoinGecko API with 17,000+ coins and 20 display currencies (including BTC and ETH as quote currencies).

Historical price charts for any coin, from 1 to 365 days, are rendered as lightweight SVG on your server - they load instantly and look sharp on any screen. Price cards include 7-day sparklines colored by trend. The visitor currency switcher lets your readers flip cards and tables between USD, EUR, GBP and more with one click, without a page reload. A live crypto-to-fiat converter widget completes the set.

Everything is shortcode based and works with any theme, the block editor, the classic editor and page builders. Smart server-side caching means one API call per cache window no matter how much traffic you get, with a stale-data fallback if the API is briefly unreachable. The front end ships about 7 KB of assets, loaded only on pages that actually display a widget.

The package includes the Pro add-on, the free base plugin and HTML documentation. Install both plugins, add a shortcode, done.

The free VortexCodex Crypto Widgets base plugin (included in the package)

1. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin and upload vortexcodex-crypto-widgets-1.0.5.zip (the free base plugin, included). Activate it.

2. Upload and activate vortexcodex-crypto-widgets-pro-1.0.0.zip the same way.

3. Configure default coins, currency, cache time and accent color under Settings > VortexCodex Crypto.

4. Add shortcodes to any page or post, for example [vortexcodex_chart coin="bitcoin" days="7"], [vortexcodex_spark_cards], [vortexcodex_switcher currencies="usd,eur,gbp"] or [vortexcodex_converter].
