            The system is built to be powerful yet simple. It lets you handle everything from managing multiple warehouses to creating sales reports, all while giving you the right level of control over who can do what.

Features of Super Stock IMS

1.     Product management

            The Product management module, here we can store and manage all the essential information about the items you sell or use. A well-organized product catalog ensures that all other features, from sales and purchases to reporting function accurately and efficiently.

2.     Product category management

            The Product category management module works in tandem with Product Management to help you organize your catalog. Categorizing products makes it easier to manage a large number of items, run specific reports, and simplify navigation for your sales team.

3.     Units management

            You can define and save all the units you'll use in your system, such as pieces, boxes, kilograms (kg), liters (L), meters (m), and rolls. Each product in your catalog is assigned a default unit of measure. This unit is automatically used whenever you perform an inventory transaction, like a sale or stock adjustment.

4.     Multiple Warehouse management

            The system allows you to create an unlimited number of storage locations, each with a unique name. This enables you to accurately reflect your business's real-world physical structure within the system. It eliminates the guesswork involved in finding products and ensures that you can locate stock quickly to meet customer demand.

5.     Low stock product

            The system continuously monitors the quantity of all your products. Every time a sale or stock adjustment is made, the system checks if the product's quantity has dropped to or below its defined threshold. Any product that meets the low stock condition is automatically added to a dedicated "Low Stock Products" list or report. This list is a central, real-time overview of all items that need to be reordered.

6.     Currency

            This feature allows you to set the system's single, default currency. All prices, costs, and financial reports within the system will be displayed and managed in this currency. This ensures consistency and simplifies financial tracking, providing a clear, unified view of your company's financial performance.

7.     Customers

            The Customer Management module is where you store and organize all the information about your clients. It includes the customer's full name, email address, and phone number, physical address and status.

8.     Suppliers

            This feature allows you to create and maintain comprehensive profiles for each of your suppliers. This includes vital information such as name, phone number, email address, physical address and status of the supplier. It simplifies the process of creating new purchase orders and managing payments, as all necessary information is easily accessible.

9.     User management (Staffs & Roles)

            This feature allows an administrator to create new user accounts for every employee who needs access to the system. You can enter their name, email, and other relevant details. It also provides the ability to edit or deactivate accounts if a staff member's role changes or they leave the company.

            Staff accounts are linked to the Roles and Permissions module. When creating or editing an account, you can assign the user to a specific role you have created, such as "Sales Manager" or "Warehouse Staff." This immediately applies all the predefined permissions for that role to the user's account. Staff members can only access the features and data they need, which protects sensitive business information and prevents unauthorized actions.

10.  POS(Point of Sale) with Barcode Scanning

           It instantly subtracts the sold items from your inventory count. This ensures your stock levels are always accurate and up-to-date, preventing stockouts and discrepancies. It captures all the transaction details such as the products sold, total amount, payment method, and date and records them in the sales module. This data is essential for generating financial reports and analyzing sales performance. In short, the POS module is the front-end tool for making sales that works seamlessly with the back-end IMS to manage inventory and provide real-time business insights.

11.  Sales management

            The sales management module provides a clear and organized view of all sales transactions. The main interface presents a comprehensive list of every sale, each identified by the customer name, a unique invoice number, and the transaction date. For each entry, you can quickly review key financial information, including the total amount of the invoice, the paid amount received from the customer, and the remaining pending balance. A glance at the payment status column immediately tells you the current state of the invoice, whether it's fully paid, partially paid, or overdue. Finally, the actions column provides a set of convenient tools to manage each sale, allowing you to view detailed invoice information, record new payments, edit the invoice, or perform other necessary tasks.

12.  Purchase management

            The purchase management module offers a comprehensive and organized view of all your procurement activities. The main interface lists every purchase transaction, each identified by the supplier name, a unique invoice number, and the transaction date. For each entry, you can quickly see the financial details, including the total amount of the invoice, the paid amount, and the remaining pending balance. Two key status indicators provide quick insights: the payment status shows whether the invoice has been paid, is pending, or overdue, while the purchase status tracks the state of the order, such as "Pending," "Received," or "Canceled." Finally, the actions column provides a set of convenient tools to manage each purchase, allowing you to view detailed invoice information, record payments, and handle returns.

13.  Stock adjustments

            The Stock Adjustment module provides a clear and streamlined way to manage changes to your inventory that aren't a result of a sale or purchase. The main interface displays a log of every adjustment, with each entry identified by a unique reference number, the date of the adjustment, and the total products affected. The actions column allows you to view the full details of each adjustment, including which specific products were added or removed from your stock and the reason for the change. This module ensures that your inventory records remain accurate by providing a transparent and auditable record of all manual stock changes.

14.  Transfer products

            The Transfer Product module offers a clear and straightforward way to manage the movement of stock between your different warehouses. The main screen provides a log of all transfers, with each entry identified by a unique invoice number, the date of the transfer, and a brief reason for the move. The actions column allows you to view the full details of each transfer, including the specific products moved, their quantities, and the source and destination warehouses. This ensures a transparent and auditable trail for all stock transfers, helping you maintain accurate inventory levels across all your locations.

15.  Quotation

            The Quotation module is designed to help you create and manage all your price proposals to customers. The main screen provides a clear list of every quotation created, each uniquely identified by its invoice number and the date it was issued. At a glance, you can see which customer the quote was sent to and the total amount of the proposed sale. The actions column provides convenient tools to manage each quotation, allowing you to view its full details, make edits, or, once the customer has agreed, convert it into a final sales invoice to initiate the transaction. This feature streamlines the initial stages of your sales process.

            The Reports module includes

Lastly, the Customer Report and Supplier Report act as a ledger, detailing your full transaction history and financial interactions with all your customers and suppliers.

            The system includes a built-in print functionality that allows you to generate professional documents such as invoices, purchase orders, and quotations. With a single click, users can preview and print records in a clean, organized format, making it easier to share with customers, suppliers, or internal staff. This ensures quick documentation, reduced manual work, and smooth business operations.

17.  Settings

            The Settings module is the central control panel for your inventory management system, allowing an administrator to configure key system-wide options. It is divided into two main sections to manage different aspects of the application.

i)                General settings

            The General Settings section is for high-level configurations, such as your company's name, address, and the default currency for all transactions. This ensures consistency across the entire system.

ii)              SMTP settings

            The SMTP Settings section is for configuring the system's email functionality. It allows you to enter the necessary details, such as the host, port, username, and password, enabling the system to send automated emails like sales invoices, purchase orders, or notifications.

1. Unzip the downloaded package.

2. Upload all project files to your hosting directory.
3. Rename `.env.example` to `.env`
4. Open the `.env` file and update your database credentials:
   DB_DATABASE=your_database_name  
   DB_USERNAME=your_db_user  
   DB_PASSWORD=your_db_password
5. Open terminal and run the following commands from the project root:
   composer install  
   php artisan key:generate  
   php artisan migrate --seed
6. Set the folder permissions (if needed) for `storage` and `bootstrap/cache`
7. Access the project in browser.
