• PHP 8.1 or later
• MySQL database
• XAMPP/WAMP/LAMP (recommended)
• Bootstrap 5, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS

Step 1 – Start Server

• Install XAMPP/WAMP and start Apache & MySQL.

Step 2 – Database Setup

• Open phpMyAdmin.
• Create a database named _sms.
• Import database/_sms.sql.

Step 3 – Placement

• Copy project folder into C:xampphtdocsschool-management-system.
• Ensure index.php is in the root folder.

Step 4 – Run Application

• Visit http://localhost/school-management-system in browser.

Default Credentials:

• Admin → [email protected]   Password:123
• Teacher → [email protected] Password:123
• Student → [email protected] Password:123
• Owner → [email protected] Password:123

(New teacher/student accounts use their date of birth as default password.)
